Are Brass Knuckles Illegal in Maryland
Share
In Maryland, brass knuckles are illegal to carry. Maryland Criminal Law §4-101 includes them under the list of dangerous concealed weapons. Carrying them in public without a valid reason can lead to misdemeanor charges and confiscation.
Collectors may still own brass knuckles if kept at home and not used in any violent or defensive act. However, even transporting them in your car could be risky if stopped by police.
Maryland maintains strict control over self-defense weapons, so it’s best to avoid possessing brass knuckles in the state altogether.
