Tracker Knife Collection: Survival, Bushcraft & Camping Blades

The Tracker Knife is one of the most versatile outdoor survival tools ever created. Designed as a do-it-all blade for the wilderness and jungle, it combines chopping power, carving precision, skinning ability, and notching features into a single knife. Built with a full tang construction and often paired with a durable leather or Kydex sheath for vertical or horizontal carry, the Tracker is ready for any environment.

Made famous by its role in The Hunted, the Tracker has become a trusted companion for bushcraft, camping, hunting, and emergency survival kits. Its razor-sharp edge handles food prep and carving, while the weighted front section makes light work of firewood processing. Paired with a fire starter, it’s a reliable tool for creating campfires and sustaining life in the wild.

Our collection includes the full range of Tracker models—from the heavy-duty Tracker #1 designed for chopping and shelter building, to the compact Tracker #3 and Tracker Scout, which are ideal for lightweight carry and precision camp tasks. We also feature modern designs like the Weyland Tracker, offering a sleeker style while staying true to the survival heritage of the blade.

Quick Tips & Buying Guide By KBS Knives Store

Buying a handmade knife is different than picking one off the shelf. It’s about craft, purpose, and how it fits your hand and your life. Whether you're new to Damascus steel or building your custom collection, these quick tips will help you choose wisely and take care of your blade the right way.
  1. 1. What makes Damascus steel special? Damascus steel is known for its strength, edge retention, and unique wavy patterns. It's not just beautiful—it's durable and functional for serious use.

  2. 2. How do I choose the right custom knife? Think about purpose—camping, cooking, display, or daily use. Then look at size, handle grip, blade shape, and weight to match your needs.

  3. 3. Are these knives meant for use or display? Both. They’re fully functional, but many customers also collect them as heirloom pieces due to their craftsmanship and aesthetics.

  4. 4. What kind of care do Damascus steel knives need? Keep them clean and dry. Wipe the blade after each use, and oil it lightly to prevent rust—especially if storing it for long periods.

  5. 5. What materials are used in the handles? We use premium materials like stabilized wood, bone, horn, or micarta—each chosen for durability, grip, and a unique look.

  6. 6. Will the blade rust over time? Damascus steel can rust if not cared for. It’s high-carbon, which means better performance, but it needs regular oiling and no dishwasher use.

  7. 7. How sharp are the knives when shipped? Extremely sharp. Each knife is hand-sharpened and tested before it leaves our workshop. Always handle with care from the start.

  8. 8. Can I request a custom engraving or design? Yes. We offer customizations like initials, logos, or design tweaks depending on your request. we are offering Free name, Initials Engraving on Blade, Handle or Sheath so just Write your name or initials in the Order note But if you have a special Request so Just contact us before placing the order.

  9. 9. What’s the best way to store my knife? For long-term storage, avoid keeping your knife in its leather sheath—leather can trap moisture and cause rust. Instead, use a magnetic wall strip, knife block, or soft-lined drawer insert. If storing for a while, lightly oil the blade and wrap it in a soft cloth or paper before placing it in a dry area.

  10. 10. Do your knives come with a warranty or guarantee? We stand by our craftsmanship. If there’s a defect or issue with your knife, reach out—we’ll make it right.
